About us
Here at Newmarket & District Canine Society, our goals are happy dogs and happy people. Our training methods are sympathetic and positive and we focus on the relationship between you and your dog.  Our aim is that you make each other happy!

The Club has been established since 1967 and provides kind, motivational and reward-based training to owners of dogs of all breeds, ages and abilities.

We are a non-profit organisation and our experienced trainers give of their time on a voluntary basis.  We regularly donate to dog-related charities and hold fund-raising events to further our support.

Obedience
Collectively we can offer a wealth of experience from basic puppy training through to advanced competition obedience.  Whether you are just starting out on the journey with your first dog or are an experienced owner, there is a class to suit you.

We are registered with the Kennel Club and offer its Good Citizen Dog Scheme.  The aim of the scheme is to promote responsible dog ownership and in turn enhance our relationship with our pets and make the whole community aware of the benefits of dog ownership. You and your dog can earn a Bronze award and progress towards the Silver and Gold awards with the help of our trainers at the club.

For more information on any of our obedience classes, click on the tabs at the top of this page.
